Ganapathi Sthothram  
Om pranamya shirasaa dhevam / Gowri-puthram vinaayakam bhakthaa-vaasam smaren-nithyam / aayuh-kaamaartha-siddhaye. I bow my head in reverence and offer my obeisance to Lord Vinayaka, the son of Gowri, the on who resides in the hearts of the devotees who always contemplate on his form, the one who blesses his devotees with longevity and fulfilled desires.
Prathamam vakra-thundam cha / Ekadhantham dwitheeyakam Thritheeyam krishna-pingaaksham / Gaja-vakthram chathurthakam. My humble salutations to: The Lord with the twisted trunk The Lord with a single tusk The Lord with small black eyes The Lord with an elephant face
Lambodharam panchamam cha / Shashtham vikatameva cha Sapthamam vighna-raajam cha / Dhoomra-varnam thatha-ashtamam. The Lord with a large belly The Lord who is uncommon The Lord who is the destroyer of obstacles The Lord with a gray complexion
Navamam bhaala-chandram cha / Dhashamam thu Vinaayakam Ekaadhasham Ganapathim Dwaadhasham thu Gajaananam. The Lord with the moon as a crest jewel The Lord of hindrances The Lord of Ganas (celestial hosts) The Lord Gajaanana
Dwaadhashythaani naamaani / thri-sandhyam yah patten-naraha na cha vighna-bhayam thasya / sarva-siddhi-karam prabho. The one who recites these twelve names of Lord Ganesha thrice a day (tri=three; Sandhyas=dawn and dusks and during noon), will be protected from hindrances and impediments, and all the desires will be fulfilled.
Vidhyaarthi labhathe vidhyaam / Dhanaarthi labhathe dhanam Puthraarthi labhathe puthraan / Mokshaarthi labhathe gathim. A student seeking knowledge will gain knowledge, the one seeking wealth will get wealth, the one wishing children, will be blessed with children, the one seeking liberation, will attain it through proper direction.
Japedh Ganapathi-sthothram / shad-bhir-maasaih-phalam-labheth samvathsarena siddhim cha / labhathe naathra samshayaha. The one who recites Ganapathi Stotram will reap benefits in six months time and in one year's time, without any doubt, one will gain 'siddhi' (achievement).
Ashtabhyo braahmanebhyas-cha / Likhithwaa yah samarpayeth Thasya vidhyaa bhaveth sarvaa / Ganeshasya prasaadhathaha. If any one writes this stotram eight times and offers that to Brahmins, he will be blessed with knowledge and Lord Ganapathi's eternal blessings.

அற்புத கீர்த்தி வேண்டின்
ஆனந்த வாழ்க்கை வேண்டின்
நற்பொருள் குவிதல் வேண்டின்
நலமெலாம் பெருக வேண்டின்
கற்பக மூர்த்தி தெய்வக்
களஞ்சியத் திருக்கை சென்று
பொற்பதம் பணிந்து பாரீர்
பொய்யில்லை கண்ட உண்மை!

பிள்ளையார் பட்டி என்னும்
பேரருள் சுரங்கத்தின் கண
உள்ளவன் மலையில் பூத்த
உருவத்தின் இயற்கைத் தோன்றல்
தெள்ளிய மனத்தர்க்கு எல்லாம்
திருவருள் வழங்கும் தெய்வம்
கள்ளமில் பக்தர் தந்தை
கற்பக மூர்த்தி போற்றி!

Om Sumukhaaya Namaha Salutations to the one with the auspicious countenance.
Om Eka-dhanthaaya Namaha Salutations to the one with a single tusk.
Om Kapilaaya Namaha Salutations to the one who knows the 'self', who attained Brahman and is on par with Vishnu. The one whose body has a natural hue of red and yellow colours mixed.
Om Gaja karnakaaya Namaha Salutations to the one with elephant ears
Om Lambodharaaya Namaha Salutations to the one with a large belly.
Om Vikataaya Namaha Salutations to the one who is strange, incomprehensible, and with an unusual form.
